The Spokane County Treasurer's office reminds county taxpayers that the second half of their 2007 property taxes are due on Oct. 31 per Washington state law.
If payments are mailed to the Treasurer's office through the U.S. Postal Service, they must be postmarked on or before the due date, per RCW 1.12.070.
The public is also advised to be careful that payments are dropped in a Postal Service box or station early enough so they are postmarked before the tax deadline.
