Kaulig, Searle join Medical Lake Fire Department as new volunteers

Medical Lake's all-volunteer fire department has made several new additions to its 26-member staff in the last few months, the latest to join include city residents Scott Kaulig, who joined the department in August, and Zach Searle on Oct. 2, who is also a five-year volunteer with Spokane County Fire District 4.

Kaulig, an active duty officer with the 92nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Fairchild Air Force Base, is somewhat new to the area having moved one year ago from Cincinnati, Ohio.
