Paul R. Scroggie, 55, passed away Aug. 6, in Spokane.
Scroggie was born Sept. 25, 1951 in Spokane to James and Edith (Harrington) Scroggie. He attended Sprague schools for 11 years and was a graduate of Cheney High School.
Scroggie received a football scholarship to college in Hawaii and received his bachelor's degree from Eastern Washington University.
After college, Scroggie was in the Marine Corp for a short time.
He enjoyed stamp collecting and was a licensed ham radio operator. He is survived by his parents James and Edith Scroggie of Sprague, Wash., and his brother Wayne Scroggie of Seattle, Wash.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, at Macabbe Cemetery in Sprague. Cheney Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
