The annual West Plains Fair is this weekend, Aug. 10-12.
This is a free, family-friendly event featuring exhibits, games and activities, animal events and a variety of vendors, along with a free Saturday barbecue (donations welcome), talent show and dance.
This year's feature attractions include: Cheney Middle School student violin phenomenon Eun Song Koh, the Red Wing Fiddlers, S.C.O.P.E.'s Bike Safety Rodeo and Operation Family ID.
The Fair is held at the Cheney Rodeo Grounds, Friday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. with the dance 8-11 p.m., and Sunday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 990-6246. Bring your non-perishable donations for our local food banks drive.
