Cheney may be an American town settled in the 19th century, but on Aug. 18, it will be transformed into a 14th-century village that King Arthur would be proud to call home – and in the process set a new world's record.
Pathways to Progress, Allpak Containers and as many resident volunteers as possible, will attempt to build the largest corrugated cardboard play structure in the world by erecting a medieval castle replica in the parking lot of Eastern Washington University's surplus building located at the corner of First and G streets downtown.
