Vacation Bible School July 30 – Aug. 3
St. John's Lutheran Church in Medical Lake is holding Vacation Bible School beginning Monday, July 30, and concluding Friday, Aug.3.
This year's theme is “Listen up – God's Calling.” School times are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for kids in kindergarten through sixth grade, (who will need to bring a sack lunch also) and 9-11 a.m. for children age 4 to preschool.
St. John's Lutheran Church is located at 223 S. Hallett St. For more information, call 299-4114, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to noon.
West Plains Fair books now available
Exhibitors of all ages, show what you have and have done this past year!
Pick up your West Plains Community Fair premium books at various locations including: Copy Junction (Cheney), Cheney Delights and Cheney Library; Deel Community Center (FAFB), Family Services building in the Airman's Attic room (FAFB), the Medical Lake Library; the Airway Heights Library, and at Yoke's. Market chalk art contest this Friday
The Cheney Farmers Market is holding its second annual Kids Art Day for youth ages 6-14 on Friday, July 20.
No need to pre-register, just come to the Pathways to Progress booth on College Avenue between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to sign up for chance to do a little creative street drawing with chalk. The contest runs from12:30 to 1:30 p.m., and there is no entry fee. Everyone is welcome.
