CHENEY

June 1

A third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 800 block of Fifth Street. Eggs were thrown at a house.

Jessie M. Lohr, 21, was arrested on the 700 block of First Street for driving under the influence (DUI).

A report of either an assault or fighting among individuals was made on the 500 block of Fifth Street. Charges pending per investigation.

An alcohol offenses involving minors was reported on the 500 block of Fifth Street. Police arrested Nora A. Neidermeyer, Aleisha P. Lawrence and Katherine M. Hudson, all 19, for minor in possession (MIP).

A third-degree theft was reported on the 700 block of West First Street. Camping equipment was taken from a vehicle.

May 31

Robert J. Turley, 26, was arrested on the 900 block of First Street for third-degree driving while license suspended.

A possession of a controlled substance was reported on the 700 block of South Cheney-Plaza Road. No arrest made, property confiscated.

A welfare check was requested on the 100 block of Third Street. Resident had gone on vacation without notifying anyone.

May 30

A man's wallet was found on the 200 block of North Eleventh Street.

A mutual harassment between ex-roommates was reported on the 200 block of Betz Road.

A first-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 2300 block of First Street. Damage was done to a machine at the car wash.

Police received a report of an attempted theft on the Eastern Washington University campus. Several individuals were contacted as they attempted to load a large, stand-up ashtray into a truck. One individual had an outstanding warrant out of Clark County, Wash., non extraditable. Police arrested Zachary A. Campbell, 19, on an outstanding warrant out of Spokane for MIP.

A second-degree theft was reported on the 300 block of Nolan Brown. A concrete eagle statue was taken.

May 29

A report of a computer trespass was made on the 700 block of Third Street. Some software was uploaded onto someone else's PC.

A fourth degree assault/domestic violence was reported on the 2200 block of First Street. Incident was between daughter and mother, and a 14-year-old female was arrested for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence.

A suspicious circumstance was reported on the 400 block of First Street. An individual's identification was reported missing.

A third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 1700 block of Seventh Street. Spray painting was found on the women's restroom at Centennial Park.

An alcohol offense involving a minor was reported at the Cheney Middle School. Two 14-year-old females were arrested for MIP.

Alejandro Larios, 19, was arrested on the 1500 block of Washington Street for third-degree driving while license suspended, and on an outside warrant for DWLS from Spokane. Also arrested with Larios was Ezekiel J. Serrano, 22, for second-degree computer trespassing.

May 28

A report of a taking of a motor vehicle without the owner's permission was received made on the 300 block of North Eighth Street. A 1988, gray Mazda MX-6 was taken.

A report of reckless endangerment was made on the 700 block of Second Street. Kids were seen shooting BB guns at passersby. Charges are pending per investigation.

May 26

Melissa A. Carley-Lopez, 49, was arrested on the 1500 block of West First Street for fourth degree assault/domestic violence, third-degree malicious mischief/domestic violence and resisting arrest.

May 25

Matthew T. McCullor, 42, was arrested on the 3100 block of Thistle Creek for third-degree malicious mischief/domestic violence.

A 14-year-old male was arrested at the police station for violation of a court order/being a runaway.

Kevin T. Snover, 34, was arrested on the 2200 block of First Street for second-degree trespassing.

Terren D. Schatz, 21, was arrested at the police station for resisting arrest, and an outside warrant out of Spokane County for third-degree DWLS.

Police responded to a civil problem on the 400 block of Annie Place. A resident complained of high school students littering and doing damage to a tree in their yard during lunch.

A first-degree theft was reported on the 1700 block of Second Street at Jarms Hardware. A bank bag containing cash and credit cards was taken.

A report of a lost passport was made on the 2800 block of Eton.


MEDICAL LAKE

June 3

Douglas B. McKinney, 34, of Airway Heights was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant and for driving while license suspended (DWLS) in the third degree in the area of SR-902 and Graham Lane.

David E. Richter, 44, of Spokane was arrested for third-degree DWLS in the area of Lefevre and Barker.

June 2

Victor Aguilar, 22, of Medical Lake was arrested for carrying no valid operators license without identification (NVOL) in the area of SR-902 and Stanley.

Kathleen D. Mewes, 28, of Spokane was arrested for possession of marijuana in the 1400 block of SR-902.

Cottrell K. Blanchard, 40, of Spokane was arrested for second-degree DWLS in the area of Pine and Fancher.

Dahri M. Powell, 28, of Spokane was arrested for third-degree DWLS in the area of Pine and Fancher.

May 30

Police received a report of malicious mischief that occurred in the 200 block of South Prentis Street.

May 29

Police received a report of third-degree theft in the 100 block of South Walker Street.

Police received a report of malicious mischief that occurred over the weekend in 1000 block of north Olson Hill Court.

May 28

Police received a report of a possible third-degree theft.

A second-degree malicious mischief was reported, occurring in the 200 block of South Pine Street.
