Improvements to 195 intersection lacking funding

Local motorists who use the Cheney-Spokane Road dread it every trip.

After the leisurely country drive east past Fish Lake and Marshall, there's the drop downhill to U.S. 195. And that's where the fun begins.

Motorists looking to head north on 195 to Spokane have to be careful of the high-speed crosstraffic heading both ways. On foggy mornings, or at twilight – just about anytime, really – the maneuver can be tricky, and accidents are not uncommon.
