Perry was born Dec. 28, 1943 to Bud (Eugene) and Eleanor Ahlf and was a graduate of Medical Lake High School, class of 1962. Perry was a lifetime resident of Medical Lake, where he lived and worked the farm his family homesteaded with his brother Bill and father Bud, who preceded him in death. A lifetime resident of Amber, Wash., Nelson Albert Cordill passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 28, 2011 at the age of 87 with his loving family at his side. He was born Sept. 1, 1923 at Rodna, Wash., to Leonard C. Cordill and Ivy M. Sooy. He grew up on the family homestead with his brother, Clark, near Effie, Wash. Harold E. Rupp, age 81, passed away April 7, 2011 at his home in Cheney. Harold was born Oct. 19, 1929 in Dusty, Wash. to Earl and Sarah (Charman) Rupp. He attended school in Dusty and enlisted in the Army, where he met his wife Marcelle while stationed in the South. Harold worked for Hamon Fuel as a furnace installer and repairman for many years and also farmed. Rod Bliss of Cheney passed away at age 62, on Dec. 30, after a valiant and courageous four and a half year battle with colon cancer.
