    A thief broke into the construction site of the new Veteran's Cemetery in Medical Lake over the weekend and stole a pair of Patron-brand electric heaters valued at more than $700 apiece. A Bouten Construction employee told Spokane County Sheriff's deputy Marc Melville that the site had been closed Dec. 11 at about 4 p.m. When workers arrived Monday, they found a plywood cover on the north door that was held in place with nails rather than the screws originally used by construction employees. The department's monthly accountability review (MAR) included a map of Cheney that indicated the locations of crimes that occurred in the city during November. Cmdr.
