  • Valley rider killed at motocross track

    Austin Krum, a 17-year-old East Valley School District student was killed in a motocross accident Saturday afternoon at Airway Motocross Park at the Spokane Motorsports Complex in Airway Heights. According to reports Krum missed a jump and his bike landed on top of him. He sustained fatal head and neck injuries and died at the scene.     Because of increased season ticket sales and a sold-out tailgating parking lot, the Eastern Washington University Athletic Department is encouraging Eastern fans to arrive early for football games this fall at Roos Field.   • Veterans Cemetery honors those found through Missing in America Project

The service was the largest mass inurnment in the Missing in America Project's history.
