    LIBERTY LAKE – A two-vehicle collision on Interstate 90, about a mile east of Liberty Lake, sent two people to the hospital Saturday morning, according to Washington State Patrol. The crash occurred around 10:30 am, when a Nissan Titan, driven by Marvin Rogers, 54, of Plummer, Idaho, struck the rear of a motorcycle. The motorcycle rider, identified as Andrew Snow, 32, of Spokane, was ejected and landed in the left lane of the interstate. Both vehicles ended up in the median.     SPOKANE VALLEY – The City of Spokane Valley has begun construction on the Indiana Avenue Preservation Project on Monday, Sept. 23. The project is expected to take about six weeks to complete. Crews will extend the concrete pavement on Indiana Avenue, starting from the intersection of Indiana Avenue and Sullivan Road and continuing about 800 feet to the east.     SPOKANE—Spokane International Airport has been awarded more than $18 million in federal funding for the design and reconstruction of Taxiway Alpha, a key pathway used by commercial and cargo planes on Sept. 12.
