    DEEP CREEK – Dashani M. Broomfield, a 21-year-old from Ford, tragically lost his life Tuesday evening in a motorcycle accident at the intersection of Brooks Road and U.S. Highway 2. According to the Washington State Patrol, Broomfield was riding his 2006 Yamaha YZFR6 eastbound on Highway 2 at approximately 11:31 p.m. when he collided with a 2006 Ford Expedition driven by Kayleigh Roop, 18, from St. Maries, Idaho.     CHENEY – Windsor and Westwood schools were placed on lockdown Wednesday afternoon after suspicious individuals were spotted near Windsor Elementary. Law enforcement responded to the scene and is currently searching the area for the individuals. Both schools have locked down to ensure the safety of students and staff.
