Howard Daniel Cameron, age 66, passed away July 28 at home, doing what he loved the most – grooming his horse. Known to his friends as “Dan,” he was born June 22 in Kellogg, Idaho to Howard and Josephine Cameron. Dan’s sister Betty Ann and both parents preceded him in death. 1 Years Ago Aug. 21, 2003 The Cheney Care Center’s planned senior apartment project hit a snag when it was learned that the city had not yet signed off on the project’s traffic plan. The project needed access to North Sixth Street that had to conform to private road width regulations. An underestimation of the total costs for the SR 904 safety project put some parts of the project in jeopardy.
