FROM NEWS SERVICE REPORTS It will be another year of challenge after challenge for the Eastern Washington University men’s basketball team when the Eagles embark upon their 2018-19 non-conference schedule. There are probably not any apologies coming from the hosts of the Medical Lake Summer Fest basketball tournament staged July 27 – 29. The Cardinal girls won their varsity bracket with a 40-27 win over Columbia River and the Medical Lake boys varsity team were runners up to Cashmere following a 59-51 loss in the title game.
