CHENEY — According to the initial results of the August 3 elections, the Spokane County Fire District 3 succeeded in passing their property tax levy for fire protection and emergency medical services. The proposition received 3,093 votes to approve (76.88%) and 930 votes to reject (23.12%). CHENEY — According to the initial results of the Aug. 3 Primary Elections, Mark Posthuma and Jacquelyn Belock will progress to the general election for City Council Position No. 3. CHENEY - Water recreation enthusiasts will find their access to Williams Lake limited beginning this week.
