MEDICAL LAKE - Today was championship Saturday in the Washington State Little League Juniors Tournament, as District 9 Mercer Island topped District 1 Everett at Holliday Field. It was a championship game all around, and hard fought by both teams. Everett jumped to an early 5-2 lead and held that for the first two innings.
