    StageWest Community Theatre is holding open auditions for their upcoming production of “Anne of Green Gables,” adapted by Peter DeLaurier from the novel by L.M. Montgomery and directed by Kay Byron-Pacheco. The casting calls for five girls ages 12 to 20, two boys ages 12 to 22, one male age 40 to whatever and three women age 25 and above but one should be close to the man’s age.     West Plains residents who have wanted to learn Irish dance moves will get their chance. The Airway Heights Parks and Recreation Department is offering a free Irish dance class at the community center every Thursday, from July 9 to Aug. 13, from 7-8 p.m. All ages are welcome, however children need to be accompanied by an adult.
