    SPOKANE VALLEY - A man driving a white Ford Taurus was seriously injured when he crashed trying to pass vehicles on the shoulder of Upriver Drive on June 13.     SPOKANE COUNTY – A woman was hit by a car and fatally injured just before 4:30 p.m. on June 11. The collision happened near the intersection of S. Palouse Highway and S. Baltimore Road, and caused a road closure of several hours while the scene was investigated.     SPOKANE VALLEY – A man was arrested and charged with 2nd Degree Murder in connection with a death at the Red Top Motel. Spokane Valley Major Crimes Detectives had been called just before 2:00 p.m. to investigate a suspicious death of a man at the Red Top Motel the previous day according to reports.
