SPANGLE - Traffic was halted two miles north of town Friday night, March 10, following a crash on ice-covered U.S. Highway 195. Nobody was injured in the crash, but the highway was closed for cleanup. SPOKANE – A worker killed on a construction site at Spokane Tribe Casino in Airway Heights was remembered during a vigil March 12. Ana Vetter, 27, of Nine Mile Falls, was killed March 7 at the site of a new building at Spokane Tribe Casino, 14300 U.S. Highway 2.
