    CHENEY — The Eastern Washington University women’s tennis squad hosted the Whitworth Pirates in its home opener of the 2021 spring season and secured a 7-0 victory on Feb. 26 at the Jim Thorpe Fieldhouse. Eastern collects its second win in a row and improves to a 2-4 overall record. Eastern dominated in doubles play allowing only one point to be scored in each doubles match.
