    Lenora Kalous resident of Medical Lake, Wash., passed away on Jan. 21, 2016 from complications due to congestive heart failure. She was born the second day of August 1934 in Horton, Kan., to Anna and Lester Jerome. She graduated from Effingham High School in Effingham, Kan., in 1952. She married Robert Kalous March 15, 1953.
