    AIRWAY HEIGHTS -- National Weather Service forecasters warn that a strong cold front scheduled to pass through Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho beginning late Tuesday night and through Wednesday could bring strong winds, heavy rain and snow in the mountains.     WASHINGTON, D.C. — Eastern Washington's two Republican congressional representatives were on opposite sides of the House vote to impreach President Donald Trump for a second time.   • Cheney schools remain closed

    CHENEY -- School district officials informed parents and staff that schools would remain closed today, Thursday, Jan. 14, as a result of damage sustained from yesterday's windstorm. Three schools were still without power this morning -- Snowdown and Windsor elementary schools and Westwood Middle School. A number of families in the district remained without power as well, leading to officials to cancel both in-person and distance learning classes.     OLYMPIA – Two people were arrested this morning, Monday, Jan. 11, as the Legislature entered session behind locked gates. Early in the morning, a woman parked her RV in front of one of the gates and refused to move it or leave, the Washington State Patrol reported. When she was arrested for failing to follow a lawful order, one of her friends moved the RV.
