    CHENEY -- School district officials informed parents and staff that schools would remain closed today, Thursday, Jan. 14, as a result of damage sustained from yesterday's windstorm. Three schools were still without power this morning -- Snowdown and Windsor elementary schools and Westwood Middle School.     AIRWAY HEIGHTS--Inmates and prison guards have begun receiving COVID-19 vaccinations at the Airway Heights Corrections Center.     SPOKANE COUNTY – Taxpayers have until Dec.31 to pay their second half 2020 property taxes without late interest charges.
