As someone who came to the Legislature from private business, I have advocated that the Legislature get serious about turning around our stagnant economic growth through policies to encourage private investments that create jobs. House Republicans continue to offer common-sense solutions that would get economic development projects started sooner, curb the rate at which state agencies are drafting new regulations for businesses, and make it harder for the Legislature to raise your taxes.
