Two members of the Cheney High School Equestrian Team, Destiny Otoupalik and Maddie Merriott, placed third in cow sorting at The Pacific Northwest Invitational Championship this past weekend. The Cheney High School Equestrian Team, under the leadership of Kevin Christiansen, competed in their first Washington High School Equestrian Teams meet this year at Appleatchee Riders in Wenatchee, Wash., March 16-18.
