    The Cheney High football team wrapped up their 2016 campaign with a 15-0 loss to Great Northern League leading Pullman last Friday, Oct. 21 in what Blackhawks head coach Bobby Byrd called “one of the muddiest games I’ve been a part of.” The Greyhounds took the lead in the first quarter on Jake Cillay’s 6-yard scoring pass to Cameron Lang.     Medical Lake Middle School is in its third — and hopefully final — year of being designated as a “Focus” school. The Washington State Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction classified the middle school as “Focus” status in 2014 because test scores in special education reading and math fell below 13.82 percent, which is the threshold subgroup performance average for three-year schools.
